When artificial lights where not yet invented as well as the television set, DVD player, and other forms of entertainment, our forefathers were able to enjoy the luxury of watching the stars and other celestial bodies even studied them. Well, it is not too late to watch to enjoy stargazing. However, before you go out you need to check first if the sky is clear by watching the weather reports or checking the weather online. A clear sky means it is okay to stargaze. Do not forget to wear the right clothes. It can be chilly outside.

If you are planning to go to a specific area for stargazing, go with a friend or group of friends or your family members. It is going to be a different bonding experience which all of you will enjoy. Do not forget to bring flashlights and insect repellants. It is also wise and safe to stargaze in your own yard or your friends' yard. 

According to some, it is best to watch the stars by lying back. So remember to bring a blanket or a picnic rug with you. If you are not comfortable with lying back, you can bring a recliner or sleeping bag or whichever makes you comfortable. Moreover, you can bring a binocular or telescope to get up close and personal with the stars. In addition, do not forget to bring food and a warm drink. Lastly, give your eyes enough time to adjust in the dark for about five to thirty minutes. 

However, if stargazing is too much of a luxury for you especially if you are always on the go, you can decorate your room with glow in the dark stars and other heavenly objects. Perhaps you can try decorative ceiling lighting fixtures or Christmas lights. It may not be the same thing as stargazing but it still gives you the high.

I used to think of my self and others who are having difficulties sleeping at night as insomniacs. But I realize that I am far from it because I can still sleep soundly eight to nine hours everyday. Insomniacs on the other hand are having difficulties sleeping or staying as sleep like most normal people do. The only way they can get a decent sleep is when they take sleeping pills, antihistamines or downers like Diazepam or Valium. However insomnia can be prevented if you make your bed as comfortable and cozy; taking a warm bath two hours before going to bed; avoiding caffeine or eating three hours before going to bed; turning out the lights such as your wall lamps or bedside lamps before sleeping; and exercise regularly.

Almost all of us wants to be a hero in our own little way. We do not need capes, suits, masks, and superpower abilities or a super brilliant mind like Batman to save and protect not only the the ones we love but also the world. We do not need to be vigilantes as well. All we need is a heart and compassion to make a difference, perseverance, and dedication. Saving the world is not just a one day job. It is a lifetime opportunity.

Reusing can be done by donating those items that you are no longer using such as old clothes. An example of recycling is when you make a chair out of plastic bottles.

Being a hero is not easy. However, if being one can make this world a better place, we don't need another planet to live in.

Las Vegas, the infamous city in the Nevada State, is the place you are looking for if you want to have a really great time. It is one of the most popular Sin Cities of world considering its tolerances to all types of vices and other adult entertainment which includes gambling. So if in case you want to get wed right away, Las Vegas is the place to be. However, it is kind of ironic though that the place known as the City of Angels is also the place known as the Sin City.

Saving Earth With Energy Saving Light Bulbs In Our Wall Lights

 

Mother nature has nurtured, served, and protected us since time immemorial. As stewards of the earth we could have done the same thing to protect it. But instead of nurturing, serving and protecting it, we abused and exploited our natural resources which cause an imbalance to the ecological system. Moreover, we have also created a large hole to the only protection of this planet from the harmful ultra-violet rays emitted by the sun, the ozone layer. We have polluted the land and sea as well. And it happened. On March 31, 2007 at 7:30PM Australian time, the WWF(World Wide Fund) Australia held the first Earth Hour. To those who are unaware of Earth Hour, it is a worldwide annual event held every end of the month of March. It was organized by WWF in order to address the erratic climate change. Then on March 29, 2009, 35 countries across the globe have participated in this event. All lights were out for at least an hour causing a huge reduction of energy consumption. Its worldwide success had inspired other countries to participate in this huge event. Last March 23, 2013, Earth Hour was again celebrated. Participants all over the world, turned off their lights for an hour in celebration for this huge event. WWF-Uganda had also started its first campaign in planting one million trees as a start for land rehabilitation. In the US, Girl scouts have began their campaign in help Mother Earth by waste reduction, saving energy, and promoting rain garden.

Currently there are several news that four people were ask to travel to the planet mars to be the first inhabitants of that alien planet. It is kind of ambitious and risky. But, it will be a huge success of humankind if in case the project will succeed in growing plants in mars. In the religious point of view, the mission to the alien planet is not only risky and ambitious but alarming as well. Bear in mind that earth is the only living planet in the whole solar system. Instead of paying billions of dollars to finance a project as big as this, why not use it to start repairing the damage to the planet that have provided us with our basic needs. We can start by recycling and using energy saving light bulbs in our wall lights and our other lighting fixtures.
