Fun In The Workplace

Amazing things happen when people love what they are doing. Work is no longer called work but play. I am sure that most of us have been seriously thinking about quitting from our job. That is because going to work everyday becomes painful. We are no longer happy in what we do. We have to literally drag ourselves out of bed every time.We felt trapped. However, since we have no other alternative to support our daily needs or we are afraid to gamble our future, we stay instead even though we do not want to.

Thankfully, that was then.  I am one of a few lucky people who was able to break free from that torturous daily routine. Quitting from the job which had been my bread and butter for many years was not easy. I left behind so many friends there. I will somehow miss the work place and all the people I worked with. But then again, I know that true friends remain true friends no matter where they are. I know that they are happy for me. I hit two birds with one stone. I got a job which does not feel like a job because I enjoy it very much and the money is good.

Most importantly, our office is designed to make it not look like an office. The working environment is fabulous and cozy. Plants in hanging glass terrariums are quite a beauty. The lighting fixtures are also eye-catching and fun to look at. Well, the Twigs and Leaves Ceramic Ceiling Lights without a doubt beautiful. It seems that ceramic lamps never cease to impress people with its elegance and simplicity. It has been a week since these new ceramic ceiling lamps replaced the old ones which already did their time and yet, people in the office are still drawn to it. It looked even more amazing after dimmers were installed.

Ceramic Lamps, A Masterpiece

Ceramic lighting fixtures have been one of the favorite choices of lamps these days. These lamps are extraordinarily designed. Based on what little experience I have in ceramic-making, designing a ceramic lighting fixtures is not an easy feat. It requires a lot of patience and dedication to create one. It will also take a lot of practice to create your own masterpiece.

I have seen my cousin create a ceramic lamp for their home. The design is uniquely designed just like the ones at home. It seems that he had mastered the art of making one. I have witness how he patiently etched on the surface to ensure not to damage the ceramic lamp. Only someone with great talent and expertise can create a lovely ceramic lamp with intricate designs such as the ceramic lighting fixture with patterns of bows and arrows which brightens their kid's playroom. Unfortunately, ceramic-making is but a hobby to him. He only creates one when he is not so busy with work. As much as we want him to make a lot of ceramic lamps, it is not possible. He promised to teach me again. I only hope that next time, I have enough patience to finish a single ceramic.

Technology may have made our work load lighter and faster. But it seems that no machine has been made yet to make ceramic-making any faster. If there is, the designs may not be as great as the ones made by hand.

Sea-Themed Ceramic Lamps For Your Kid's Sea-Themed Bedroom

There is nothing more beautiful and heartwarming than seeing a child's face glow in happiness.  Their smile is always genuine and we have this urge to keep it that way. It is our natural instinct to keep them away from all the things that will make them sad. If it is possible, we want to give them everything that will make them happy all the time. But then again, making them happy is not hard at all. They are so easy to please.

Recently, my sister-in-law and I redecorated my niece bedroom. Gone are the glow in the dark stars and the ceramic lamp with star cut outs. This time it is sea themed as my young niece has suddenly shown some interest in fish, sea shells, and dolphins. We bought several glow in the dark sea creature stickers and have them posted all over her room.Looking for sea-themed wallpaper is easy. We were able to purchased them from an online store. However, for the lighting fixtures, we had a hard time looking for it. After a few days of browsing the web and scouring the shops for sea themed ceramic lamps, we finally hit jackpot. The 13.5" Ceramic Bowl Ceiling Light with Seashells is exactly what we are looking for. We knew we did it right because my niece was all jumping and laughing in joy after she saw what we did to her bedroom.

The 13.5" Ceramic Bowl Ceiling Light with Seashells is really beautiful especially at night. It matches well with the wall paper and the glow in the dark stickers. We just added dimmers to the ceramic lamp just as the store clerk suggested so we could use it as a night lamp.
