Keeping our house spic and span inside out all the time is something which we all want to achieve. However, most of us are having difficulty in making this happen. We often say that we have no time to get it done or we just pay someone to do it for us. Well, it is quite practical to just pay someone to get the job done especially when we are too busy to do anything. But then again, no one else knows our house more than we do. Sure, hired people will do whatever they are told to do. However, there are really some accessories inside our house which we need to clean for our selves especially our valued possessions which require special instructions or care such as ceramic lighting, antique furniture and vases.
If I was not instructed when I first asked about the ceramic table lamps and bedroom lighting, I would have just cleaned the accumulated dust off and markings with a liquid cleaner. However, according to the good people of the online shop where I purchased the ceramic lighting fixture, using a liquid cleaner will damage the product. It will be absorbed by the white ceramic ware and will worsen whatever markings or smudges it has. A dry cloth is enough to clean the dust off. If there are any markings on the ceramic, using a medium P150 grit sandpaper which is normally use in sanding of bare wood will do the job.
We all wish a clean environment for our family and it should start from home. Good housekeeping must be observed by every family member. We should always see to it that every corner and every part of our house is properly cleaned to avoid pests from making our home their home as well.
