Lighting fixtures have made a huge difference not only to our lives but to our society as well. They have been a great source of illumination which light our path in the absence of light. Not only these lighting fixtures have provided comfort and security during troubled time. But they have also paved the way towards progress. It is hard to imagine living in this age with nothing but candles or kerosene lamps lighting our path. It is even harder to imagine that there are still some parts in this world where people are in fact living in this age with nothing but candles and kerosene lamps. Sadly, a few of my relatives and their neighbors are living in this age with nothing but candles and kerosene lamps as well.
I have not realized this fact until one of their neighbors' child came with one of my nieces for the weekend. It is a humbling experience watching her reaction after showing her around the house. She shows great appreciation to all the lighting fixtures especially the patterned ceramic lamps. Well, I also appreciate all the lighting fixtures at home especially the newly purchased vanity lamp, a 23-inched Abstract Etchings Contemporary Vanity Light. The new vanity lamp has an intrinsic but beautiful patterned design. Just like the other patterned ceramic lamps at home, the light coming out from the patterns look enchanting. Anyone can be mesmerized by this UL-approved ceramic vanity lamp. It does not only brighten the bathroom but it beautifies it as well. However, my niece's friend is not just appreciative of the lighting fixtures at home. She adores them.
The comfort, security and beauty offered by the lighting fixtures are enough reasons why we should appreciate them even more. We are quite lucky that we have access to the benefits of having these lamps. Or perhaps not.
